Ardres is another of our premier water sports centres and is located in a delightful area of France, within easy reach of the UK -only 43 miles away! Our exclusive centre has a superb lakeside setting just outside the town. This large tranquil lake enables us to provide a tremendously flexible water sports programme for all our groups, from first-time 'tasters' upwards. The exciting activities on offer range from kayaking and dinghy sailing to windsurfing and dragon boating. This year we are also offering Mini Cats -a guaranteed to thrill! The charming town of Ardres is an unspoilt old market town with many buildings of historical interest. The centre is only 25 minutes away from the port at Calais and is particularly popular for weekend visits during which our groups manage not only to try out key activities but also squeeze in an educational element of sightseeing. Within reach of the centre are plenty of excursions including World War battlefields, Bruges in Belgium, and even Disneyland and Paris which are only about 4 hours away -making them popular for a full day out.
