Our adventure centre on Derwentwater lake offers an excellent introduction to watersports for all abilities. The setting could not be more perfect - the biggest of England's National Parks, the Lake District, is an ideal place to take advantage of all natural resources on offer.
The water sports adventure programme takes place on Derwent Water itself, a perfect stretch of water for learning the basic skills of sailing, kayaking and canoeing. With the famous Skiddaw mountains nearby there is never a shortage of activities for those who are particularly adventurous, keeping our groups busy, challenged and entertained throughout the day. You take part in a varied programme of activities, with groups often spending whole days on the water or in the mountains. An impressive array of dry land activities takes place within the centre including fencing, mission impossible, abseiling and archery. Our centre is in a secluded location set amidst some of the Lake District's most spectacular scenery, and is only two miles from Keswick with its traditional street market, innumerable teashops, cafés and restaurants.
