Our fantastic new purpose-built and exclusive adventure centre is a superb addition to our wide range of centres. Tan Troed is a 17-acre campsite, set only one mile away from Llangorse Lake, the largest lake in South Wales. The lake is a perfect location for watersports such as sailing and kayaking, to complement the wide range of dry land activities available on-site. The centre offers some incredible onsite facilities for land based activities including: 4 high ropes course elements, 2 climbing and abseil towers, three sheltered archery ranges, and a supreme challenge course. All activities are set in an idyllic countryside setting with a view of the lake. Tan Troed boasts an indoor dining room and tuck shop, newly renovated toilet blocks (with disabled access and a separate block for adults), drying facilities, a teachers lounge, and a first aid room. There is also an indoor area ideal for discos, talent evenings and other evening activities. Our exclusive centre is located just west of Abergavenny, near Llangorse Lake. The surrounding area has a justifiably great reputation. The Brecon Beacons National Park is in a part of Wales that is renowned for its outstanding natural beauty and historical resonance. The beautiful hills of the Brecon Beacons provide a huge variety of walks, many come with great reward as the views from the ridges are truly spectacular.
